FAQ'S

Often I have new swimmers ask some of the questions below. Thoughts that maybe even kept them from starting out their journey to swim. Learning anything new, sometimes we want information to prepare us mentally, and or physically..

Bring your suit, towel, and something like water to hydrate with. For longer hair, pull it into a ponytail or braid to prevent it from tangling. I also offer swimcaps to pull hair away from the face.

Milwaukie- not private, shower on deck, bathroom available

There aren’t lockers available, but there are plenty of chairs, benches and tables on the pool decks.

I started my swim journey at 6 months old, and have swam on swim teams, took elective lap swimming in college (it helped with my mental health) and am a certified lifeguard, swim instructor and coach.
